The MultiVitamin Debate

Are multivitamins worth your money?

Is there real nutritional value in multivitamins?

This is a question that has been hotly debated over the past few days.  New research suggests that multivitamins are not worth the money spent on them.

What is my point of view on it?

For the most part....I AGREE

Lets take a look at that multivitamin you are taking....

Your traditional multivitamin either comes in the form of a pill or gummy/chewable. There is a problem with each of these methods of taking vitamins....

Multivitamins in pill form contain fillers and binders. You may think you are getting XXXmg of Vitamin B and XXXmg of Vitamin C but you really are not!

Why????

As you ingest that pill, your body must break it down and digest it. This digestion process can take hours and by time your body is ready to absorb the nutrients, much of the nutritional value has been diminished.

Gummy or chewable vitamins taste great and are a great replacement for individuals who cannot swallow pills.  The amount of sugar in these vitamins makes them taste good but diminishes the nutritional value.

So what is the solution?!?!?

ISOTONIC VITAMINS!!!

What is isotonic?

Isotonic, meaning “same pressure,” bears the same chemical resemblance of the body’s blood, plasma and tears. This means that the body has less work to do to obtain maximum absorption of the nutrients. The isotonic state of the suspension allows nutrients to pass directly into the small intestine and rapidly absorb into the bloodstream. Little nutritive value is lost, making the absorption of nutrients highly efficient while delivering maximum results with great flavor as well.
